Myntra – Online Promotional Techniques

Context

The Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) is an annual event created by Google India in collaboration with several Indian online shopping portals, where these sites give heavy discounts during this period, to promote sales.  Therefore, this was an event-based promotion in which Mytra wanted to increase their average billing size per customer to Rs. 10,000 and to differentiate from competitors.

Solution

We created a holiday experience which was rewarded to customers on purchases worth Rs. 10,000/- onwards. The travel voucher was valid for a couple and was completely free. The offer included a 2 night, 3 day stay chosen by the customer at any of the 30+ different locations in India.

Delivery

The offer was delivered in-mail to the list provided by Myntra and a dedicated concierge line made bookings on behalf of the customers. Myntra saw its daily sales during GOSF increase by 3-4 times, with doubled traffic throughout the promotion.
