Samsung wanted to boost festive sales of its mobile phones priced ₹10,000 and above during Diwali, with a focus on connecting with customers in South India. The objective was to drive sales of select SKUs in Tamil Nadu by offering relevant and attractive festive rewards.
Solution
BigCity crafted a festive reward program combining assured merchandise and OTT subscriptions with aspirational contest-based prizes. Customers could scan a QR code on POSM, upload invoices for validation, and redeem assured rewards via a custom microsite. To heighten excitement, daily and weekly draws offered Samsung smartphones as bumper rewards. The campaign was live for 15 days in Tamil Nadu.
