Overview

Limca aimed to drive consumer engagement and boost sales by offering attractive rewards for purchases across multiple states during a phased campaign. The challenge was to create an easy-to-use promotional mechanism that encouraged repeat participation and positioned Limca as the ultimate travel refreshment.

Solution

A QR Code + WhatsApp Chatbot campaign was launched across parts of India. Consumers could scan the QR code on Limca bottles, leading them to a WhatsApp bot. Participants entered their unique codes to check if they had won instant rewards such as ₹50 Uber or PhonePe vouchers, or the bumper reward of a ₹20,000 MakeMyTrip voucher. To further enhance engagement, winners were encouraged to upload their picture with the Limca bottle.

Impact

The campaign successfully increased consumer participation and repeat engagement, while also boosting sales during the promotional period. The combination of daily digital rewards and a high-value travel prize created excitement, reinforced Limca’s positioning as a refreshing travel companion, and built stronger brand recall among consumers.
